Privacy policy

This site collects as little as it can. There are no analytics tools, no advertising networks, and no cross-site tracking. What is actually processed is listed here in full. The German version is the binding one.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. and served from their European region. When you open a page, the provider processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer, and your browser identification. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in delivering the site securely and reliably. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, the following are processed: your name, email address, optionally company and phone number, your answers on preferred channel, project type, budget and timeline, your project description, and an optional file (PDF, PNG, or JPG, up to 5 MB). These are delivered to me as an email; I use the service Resend to send it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for steps prior to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. I keep your enquiry for as long as handling it requires and delete it afterwards, unless a statutory retention period applies.

Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie, named "lang". It remembers for one year which language you chose, so you do not have to set it on every visit. It contains no identifier that could be used to recognise you and is not sent to any third party. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No consent banner is required for this, which is why there is none.

What does not happen

There is no web analytics, no statistics software, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no fonts embedded from third-party servers, and no social media plugins. No profiles are built and no automated decision-making takes place.
